School Update November 10, 2020

Good Afternoon Families,
You may have heard the news that the County of San Diego has been moved to the most restrictive tier of the state reopening system and wonder what that means for Grace.
Because we reopened our campuses while the county was in the red tier, Grace will be allowed to stay open and we’ll be able to continue with our on-campus learning. To ensure student and staff safety, each of our employees is getting tested every two months at a County of San Diego testing facility in accordance with state guidelines. Additionally, we regularly review our reopening plans to ensure our protocols are being followed, and our campuses remain clean and healthy environments for everyone. I want to continue to encourage all our 3rd-8th graders to continue to wear their masks at all times unless they are eating or playing outside. We have done a great job following guidelines and keeping everyone healthy, I would like to continue that.

We are closely monitoring the situation and will continue to work with local public health as we move forward. I will also continue to share updates as they become available.
I appreciate your flexibility and understanding as we adjust to these ever-changing conditions!
In Him,

Ben Elliott
